This technical guide ensures proper cleaning, alignment, and installation of TriSteel metal-backed composite bearings. Clean in kerosene or diesel oil, then immerse in engine oil. A 20-degree chamfer is recommended for lead-in. Press bushings vertically, ensuring 70% contact area. For OD <55 mm, use a core axle; for OD >55 mm, utilize a handle and retaining ring. Follow ISO 3547-2 standards for inspection with specific methods for OD and ID checks. Proper installation ensures optimal performance and longevity in various applications.
