Rulon® Materials Enhance Animatronics

TriStar aided a renowned park in upgrading animatronic ride features, using Rulon composite materials for the pivot points on arms, legs, and torsos. The Traditional sealed ball bearings previously used were failing due to lubrication and environmental factors. Our engineers recommended Rulon 488 for dry applications due to its broad temperature range and steam tolerance, and Rulon W2 for wet environments because of its superior chemical resistance. These materials ensure durability, safety, and optimal performance in diverse conditions.
