Tri-SteelTM Metal Backed Bearing Systems

Tri-SteelTM is a family of metal backed, self-lubricating bearings used in the most rigorous applications.

Tri-SteelTM bearings utilize special polymer liners for self-lubrication and improved wear properties. Each material has a specific wear rate dependent on speeds, loads, temperatures, lubrication, and hardware considerations.

The metal backing supports liner materials made to withstand high loads, speeds, and adverse environments. The advantage of the Tri-SteelTM design is that even if wear-thru occurs in the liner, the supporting interlayer is a self-lubricating material as well.

Standard liners are available in the following materials:

  • PT(Bronze/PTFE)
  • AC(Bronze/Acetal)
  • PE(Bronze/PEEK)
