Tri-Star Plastics Corp. and Fryworks Co. have worked together on an exciting new product soon to be at your local theater and other entertainment venues! Fryworks Co. is now marketing their French Fry machine that uses a specially formulated granulate potato product. Through a process of rehydration, pressing, cutting, and cooking in formulated oil, the end result is a French Fry that is hot, tasty, and healthy! The whole process takes less than 1 minute and reviews from consumers have been excellent.
Tri-Star assisted in the engineering and is supplying several parts made from our Ultraflon 551 and 551L for structural components and bearings. These Ultraflon grades were developed to meet special UL and NSF requirements for the forming and cooking environment. It also has to meet standards established by foreign agencies that oversee food-processing equipment. Tri-Star is also providing special gasketing materials that have to meet the same agency approvals.
