"Lead Free" Tri-Steel® Bearings
Tri-Star Plastics Corp. is pleased to introduce a new "Lead Free" version to its Tri-Steel® Bearing line. Tri-Steel® is a family of metal backed, self lubricating plane bearings. They offer the physical strength of a steel bearing with a low friction sliding surface and zero maintenance requirements.
The new "Lead Free" Tri-Steel® liners will offer customers the option of eliminating the potential exposure from traditional lead substrates. The elimination of the lead has very little negative influence on the PV ratings and life expectancy of the bearing. Already being used by medical and food processing equipment OEM's, the new "Lead Free" Tri-Steel® Bearings are an excellent addition to Tri Star's product line.
"Lead Free" Tri-Steel® Bearings are available in metric or inch - sleeve, flange, and thrust forms - with steel, bronze, or stainless backing.
