A manufacturer of high performance deck cranes used on luxury yachts is utilizing Rulon® materials and plane bearings throughout their units.
Pivot bearings on the cylinder clevis points and connecting pins between the boom and base are all running on our Rulon® FCJ composite bearings. Utilizing a Rulon® F liner in an epoxy shell, these bearings offer very high compressive strength with very low friction and wear. Rulon® F is compatible with stainless steel wear surfaces resulting in long pin life and a maintenance free environment on these critical moving components.
Rulon® J material is being used as thrust and slide pads within the boom
offering very low friction, no lubrication and offers compatibility with both the
stainless and the costly coatings used on the booms.
