TriStar takes a Defensive Position!

TriStar has Sole!

TriStar Plastics Corp. and an international defense weapons producer have teamed up to produce several components used in the Sea Sparrow surface to air missile system found aboard US Naval ships and NATO agencies globally.

All components are made from Rulon® LR and act as various bearing surfaces within the control systems. Rulon® LR provides excellent wear properties as well as high temperature capabilities; therefore proximity to the rocket motor is not an issue. In addition, the characteristics of the material provide extremely low friction, eliminating the need for any lubrication. Since these missiles can be stored for months, or even years, it is critical that when the time comes to activate various systems, they are stable and free of breakaway friction.

For more specific information on the Rulon® product line and compounds available call us at 1-800-TRISTAR or visit our website at tstar.com.

We've created "The TriStar Advantage" with you in mind.
